How do our residents “get the most out of each day”?

Staff Training

The Creeks trains its staff to understand our residents individually, and to validate their feelings and needs through specialized approach. Through the personal care offered by The Creeks’ staff, we encourage independence, which in turn gives our residents a sense of comfort. We train staff specifically to maintain our residents’ highest possible physical, mental, social, and emotional well-being. These engagements give our residents a feeling of satisfaction and contentment, enabling them to get the most out of each day.

Resident care goes beyond the basics of helping with the Activities of Daily Living (ADL’s). Our staff is trained to listen for verbal and nonverbal cues about what our residents might be feeling or trying to express. An important part of our care philosophy is acknowledging our resident’s feelings, activities and thus providing a comforting environment. Emphasis is placed on getting to know each person and his or her individual needs.

Medication Management

The Creeks medication staff is provided ongoing training and certified to assist in medication management for our residents. For our family member’s convenience, we offer a delivery pharmacy and central storage of all medications.

Meals

Our residents enjoy delicious well-balanced, nutritious meals everyday. Our Executive Chef oversees dining services, hospitality, and training of our culinary staff. Our menus are approved by a registered dietician. We utilize fresh ingredients in our meals to increase taste and flavor. At The Creeks, it is not just a meal, it is an event. Family members are always welcome to enjoy a meal with their loved one.
