• “you are all angels”

To the entire Staff at Cedar Creek:

On behalf of Mary R’s family we would like to sincerely thank each of you for the last three years.

The care, love and respect you have each have given our mother was unbelievable. Not only did you care for our mom but also treated the entire family with respect and concern.

Feisty was one of the words Debbie used to describe mom; and she was feisty. Through all of her stubborn behavior, and tantrums waiting for her ride to “pick her up and take her home” you treated her with respect. The entire staff was just too good to be true.

Thank you Theresa for calling when we needed to know what was happening with mom’s health. You made sure we knew when medications needed to be changed and when she just wasn’t feeling well.

Thank you Leny for always being such a gracious person. I will never forget taking mom to the doctor and twice you helped me when mom threw up in my car. You were so sweet saying “come on Mama let’s get you cleaned up.” I was in tears and you were there when I needed you.

To Yeni and Kelly; thank you for always taking my calls and answering my questions. You always let us know when mom was out of something or something needed to be replaced. Just having you there to greet us and let us know that we were always welcome was so appreciated.

Finally to Debbie, I know that you spent hours talking to Tom, being supportive and guiding him through not only the finances but also helping with dad. Thank you will never be enough.

From the beginning to the end, the entire family could not have been treated better. My dad said it best, ”the entire staff, you are all angels.” We could not have done this without each and everyone of you.

    Mary’s Daughter

  • One of the hardest things we had to do was find a new home for our mother, when we no longer knew how to help her. From the moment we walked into Oak Creek we knew that is where we belonged. It was always comforting to know when we left, Mom was in loving hands.

  • One of you is always there to lend a hand (and an ear) when needed. All of your support and caring ways have made this transition in our lives so much easier and we just wanted you to know how much we appreciated it.

    Kathy R & Iris

  • To the Oak Creek staff, Our hearts are filled with gratitude to ALL of you for your wonderful, loving care of our “Grammy.” She has thrived under your care and attention. We cannot thank you enough for all the hugs, kisses, smiles and words of encouragement you gave her every day.

    Joanne & Family

  • We wish to sincerely thank you for all the loving, wonderful care you provided to our mother and for making such a difficult time for us a little easier.

    Mary, Rich, Jay and Howard

  • I know Grandpa fought going into assisted living at the beginning but he came to speak very highly of the people there.

    Henry’s Granddaughter

  • We gladly welcomed you all into our family as you took such loving care of Dad. Your kindness and love will never be forgotten.

    Dale’s Family

  • Dear Creeks Family—and family you have become: You have taken what began as the worst day of my life, moving my mom out of her home, and transformed it into a treasure of precious memories. Thank you for your countless kindnesses, your loving actions, and your patience beyond measure. Thank you for the smiles, the hugs, the encouragement and for an atmosphere of life to be enjoyed.

    Sylvia’s Daughter

  • We are so grateful to all of you for the many, many kindnesses and love shown to us and our Dad. Thank you for allowing us to spend our last days with our father surrounded by all the love and care we received. We were given the time to say goodbye, because you all took care of the details (and us) so we were free to savor our last times together.

  • Thanks for the excellent care and the love you gave our Nana during her stay with you. In truth, we could say “Thank you” every hour of every day and it would not cover the feelings we have for all of you.

  • Just wanted to thank each and every one of you from the bottom of my heart… for the love, devotion and outstanding care you showered on Maxine while she was a resident of Cedar Creek. It takes very special people to care for dementia patients. Maxine was blessed to have you all as her caregivers and friends.

  • …all (staff) had a part in making mother’s final years “Happy Years!” I couldn’t have asked for more than for her to be in a clean, fun, and loving home.… Not only did Cedar Creek brighten my mother’s life, but also gave me peace of mind in knowing she was loved and well-cared for. I didn’t need to worry about her!
